Thank you Mr Rob Johnson & Mr Robert Roberts (Canada) & Mr Peter Bailey for these amazing pictures of the park 1930’s onward. I was surprised by one of the photo’s showing a train at what seems to be the rear of Carmarthen Road behind Ebony (Arthur Llewellyn’s old showroom). I have since found out that it originally serviced the two coal mines that were there during the 1870’s, Worcester Colliery & Wig Fach Colliery, I think I have just found my next history project.
