We are very pleased to receive our award from the Community Fund which will enable us to create a Sensory/Quiet Space in the park. This project was number 2 on our list of Too Do’s.
Our main priority remains the installation of play equipment for older children. Due to changes within funder’s terms & conditions we need documents of guarantee and permissions from the council which Cllr. Mike Durke is chasing on our behalf. As soon as they are received we will be back on track.
The plans to install a pair of Memorial benches within the park is done, we just need to decide the best place to put them. There is a large scale map of the park in the Bowls Hut Café on which you can indicate your preferred site. Your suggestions on both projects would be appreciated.
